Country Information

In September 2005, Project 1 of the ASP (ASP-P1) was formally launched, with seven African countries participating (Ethiopia, Mali, Morocco, Nigeria, South Africa, Tanzania and Tunisia) to eradicate publicly-held stocks of obsolete pesticides and prevent their re-occurrence. The second project of the ASP (ASP-P2) is in planning, as preparatory activities for 8 priority countries are underway.
